91. Human-AI Interaction for Safety and Security: Is Generative AI a Bliss or a Menace?
DescriptionThis work aims to highlight current trends of generative AI applications available nowadays and highlights implications of the generative AI on human-AI interactions in safety and security contexts. Generative AI is a rapidly emerging artificial intelligence (AI) that creates new data such as text, image, video, and 3D models based on human inputs, also called prompts. Existing generative AI applications have abilities for image generation (generate fake images), image translation (convert real images with a different style), text to text generation, speech to speech generation, video generation, audio generation (e.g., AI dubbing), and image/video resolution enhancement. One of the most popular generative AI applications is ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer) that mimics human conversations, answer questions, translate between languages, write and debug programming codes, and compose music and play. Adobe Firefly is an image-generative AI that creates fake images based on text inputs.
