68. Impacts of Bad Digital Habits on Life Satisfaction in College Students and Early Career Professionals
DescriptionIn today's digitally saturated landscape, the prevalence of negative effects arising from digital dependence has increased. Concurrently, there has been a noticeable decrease in life satisfaction. While ample research has delved into life satisfaction, a pressing need exists to dive deeper into individuals' digital lives to understand how their digital habits influence their overall life satisfaction. This study addresses this need by examining the relationship between digital habits and life satisfaction, emphasizing on impulse control and usage frequency. Through this exploration, the research aims to shed light on the impacts of digital habits on overall life satisfaction, thereby enabling a deeper understanding and heightened awareness in this domain. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness about digital wellbeing and assist policymakers and future researchers in developing well-informed interventional strategies and practices for promoting digital wellbeing.
