68. Return On Investment Methods for Large-Scale Systems Interventions; Systems Thinking, How Much Does it Pay?
SessionPoster Session 2
DescriptionHow much should a government, industry consortia, or large organization spend on systems-thinking initiative packages that will yield: safety savings, productivity gains, wellbeing improvements - plus other unanticipated benefits and losses? This is a perennial problem for the human factors field. We urge upstream macro interventions, but the majority of HFE methods regarding implementation and evaluation were born at the other end of the system, amongst the teams and their tasks.
