Dr. Holley is a Professor, Graduate Studies, in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide and has received awards there recently as Faculty of the Year, The Eagle Award (for outstanding academic administration), and the Worldwide Excellence in Aerospace Higher Education award. He became a full time faculty member with the university in 2001 and has served as an elected member of the Academic Senate and as Director of Academics. Dr. Holley has taught more than 60 different courses and chaired over 400 research projects and dissertations. Earlier, Dr. Holley held positions with several United States government agencies and departments, and executive positions as Vice President, Executive Transitions and as Director of Employee Services for Union Pacific Railroad.
Dr. Holley’s clinical specialization areas include memory and cognition, research methodologies, human factors performance psychology, and behavioral aerospace medicine. Dr. Holley is licensed as a professional psychologist, certified in clinical hypnosis and in neurofeedback, a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Medicine (psychological trauma), and is an FAA certificated airplane and helicopter instrument instructor pilot with chief pilot credentials, and is Remote Pilot certified.
