Pratima Saravanan
Biography
Dr. Pratima Saravanan is an Assistant Professor in the School of Industrial Engineering and Management at Oklahoma State University and is the director of the Cognitive Performance lab. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Health Data Science and Analytics at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Saravanan received her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Human Factors at The Pennsylvania State University in 2021. She earned master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering (2020) and Bioengineering (2018) at the Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (2015) in India. Dr. Saravanan’s research interests include cognitive sciences, human factors in healthcare, and clinical decision-making.
