Waylon Krush
Biography
Waylon Krush brings a wealth of experience and accolades to the forefront of cybersecurity, AI governance, and the development of secure, innovative technologies. Waylon Krush has been instrumental in developing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and FedRAMP compliant cloud infrastructures across various projects, including the specialized ZeroTrusted.ai cloud platform, which emphasizes the security of Large Language Models (LLM). His role as a technical cyber-SME and Architect has contributed to the successful fielding and commercialization of cutting-edge DoD programs such as the NGWC for Logistics and the Motorola 5G Zero Trust radio, both pivotal in setting new standards for secure communication in commercial and government sectors.
He holds awards and honors by the Motorola Scientific and Advisory Board Associates (SABA) for pioneering work in Zero Trust in 5G, the DOT Cyber Security Excellence Award for Federal Railroads and the prestigious Knowlton Award in Cyber Mission, the NSA Professional of the Quarter for exceptional contributions to Cyber and Cryptological Missions, the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA), and the Cyber Warfare Forum Initiative (CWFI) for achievements in cyber training and security. In addition to his insurmountable military accolades he has also contributed to seminal works in cybersecurity and IT governance, including authorship and technical review of NIST SP 800-53A, the CIO Council’s Federal Enterprise Architecture Security and Privacy Profile, and co-authorship of "The Definitive Guide to the C&A Transformation'' and "The Definitive Guide to FedRAMP". He also has the following certifications: CEIA, CECM, CERP, CISSP, CISA, and CAP. Waylon’s insights into the vulnerabilities exposed by Healthcare.gov were shared before the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, highlighting the risks of stolen identity and cybersecurity flaws.
