Sahar Mihandoust is interested in Evidence-based design and exploring the effects of design on patient and provider outcomes. Sahar has a Ph.D. in Environmental and Interior Design from Texas Tech University; She has also earned an M.Arch degree in Architecture from Rensselaer polytechnic institute in New York and an M.Arch degree from Iran university of science and technology. She has over 8 years of experience in research, practice, and teaching in interior design, healthcare design, and architecture in the United States and Iran. Her primary research interest is evidence-based health care design, biophilic design, patient safety, and design for special populations.
