Biography
Dr. Hunter Oldham obtained her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Human Factors from Clemson University in 2020. She is a Research General Engineer with the Air Force Research Laboratory’s 711th Human Performance Wing investigating interactions and teaming between human and autonomous agents. She was selected as a SMART scholarship Recipient in 2017 to complete her Ph.D. Her doctoral research focused on the use of distributed cognition theory, teamwork, and human factors principles to support neurologists, nurses, and paramedics in the use of a telemedicine system for prehospital stroke care. Her current research interests are in human-autonomy teaming, situation awareness, trust, transparent AI, and the development of integrated joint domain command and control systems.
