Cal Heffernan graduated from his home state's University of Vermont before working in the insurance industry as a machine learning engineer. After finishing his Master's at The Georgia Institute of Technology he started at Ford Motor Company as a Ford College Graduate. Where he has worked in several disciplines from human factors research to advanced driver assistance systems software.
