Lucie Outlaw
Biography
Lucie Outlaw is a fourth-year PhD student whose research focuses on users’ responses to exoskeletons and their preferences. Her current project is investigating how exoskeletons affect novice users physically and cognitively, their references, and their responses after proper training. Lucie holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Geography and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Iowa. She is an active member and the safety officer for Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) and American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Auburn Chapter. In 2023, she was selected to receive the ASSP Foundation Scholarship, funded by Marcella and Michael Thompson.
