Biography
Pursuing PhD at Texas A&M university in the Health and Human factor track and working as a AI/Computer vision R&D engineer responsible for development and testing of machine learning models to process Lidar and camera data collected to aid in grid modernization effort for the Utility companies. I mostly use Deep learning (CNN, Mask-RCNN, Google Deeplab etc ) network for computer vision applications.
Previously worked as a Physics based AI (machine learning) Software Engineer for Geological modeling of subsurface built for the oil and gas industry professionals and geologists. Experience as a Senior Remote sensing data scientist at Third Insight Inc, researcher in Geosensing Systems Engineering and Sciences and an Autonomous Vehicle enthusiast with a demonstrated history of working in the research and development of LiDAR technology(Calibration, Georeferencing, perception, Corrections, system-level testing, error analysis etc), SLAM, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Seismic data processing, Robotics, InSAR, Altimetry, GIS, GPS and satellite systems, hyperspectral data, 3D visualization etc. Highly skilled with 8 years of programming experience in Python, C++, MATLAB, ArcGIS, ENVI, Java, Android programming etc. Strong research professional with IEEE publications (H index: 4, Citations: 133), motivated, focused and always open to learning new things.
