Presenter

Karan is currently a mechanical engineering master's student at Boston University focusing on autonomy and human-robot teaming for robotic manipulators. He has a bachelor's degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in industrial design and has also completed a graduate program in interaction design from the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. Before his master's, he worked in the aerospace industry as an Interaction Designer for the last 7 years focusing on spacecraft cockpit displays and military guidance and navigation software. Karan is also a boatswain's mate in the United States Coast Guard Reserve.
