Biography
Fernando Montalvo Ph.D. is a Senior Human Factors Analyst for Astrion and the Jacobs Space Operations Group (JSOG) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. As part of his role, Fernando conducts design assessments, human error analysis, usability systems, safety evaluations, and other human factors activities for the Artemis missions. Fernando’s research interests outside of JSOG include social robotics, integration of generative AI into operational activities, usability evaluations of intelligent personal assistants, and user experience approaches to health care.
