Falisha Kanji
Biography
Falisha Kanji is a Human Factors Research Assistant for the Department of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California where she performs cutting-edge research aimed at understanding barriers to safety and efficiency to improve healthcare system performance. Her work has led to a growing number of publications in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Patient Safety, BMJ Quality and Safety, and the American Journal of Surgery. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge and a Master of Science in Human Factors with a concentration in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and serves on the research committee for the Society of Surgical Ergonomics.
