Adam Lary
Biography
Adam Lary is a distinguished graduate of the United States Military Academy in 2010 with a B.S. in Engineering Psychology. His subsequent military career spanned 10 years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry officer, including multiple combat deployments in various leadership roles. After his military tenure ended in 2020, Adam transitioned to a role as a Human Factors Researcher for an electronic health record company before switching to the aviation industry. There he worked as a Human Factors Engineer, specializing in designing advanced aircraft avionics. In 2023, Adam furthered his education, earning an M.S. degree in Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Currently serving as a Team Lead, Adam spearheads human factors research initiatives focused on optimizing avionics usability and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidance. Adam's blend of military leadership and human factors expertise brings a unique perspective to operationalizing human factors research and advancing aviation safety through human-centered design principles.
