Biography
Dr. Stephanie Day is an associate research scientist at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Day earned her doctorate at Florida State University in Developmental Psychology. Her research centers on finding better ways to support literacy development and learning for children. She has extensive experience developing educational technology including software for literacy interventions, professional development tools for teachers, and assessments of both academic and behavioral skills. Her current research focuses on understanding the features of educational technology that improve usability and reading outcomes for students. Currently, she also serves as the Associate Director of the Readability Consortium at UCF where she oversees readability research in K-12 populations.
