Biography
Gretchen A. Macht, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering at The University of Rhode Island, where she directs the Sustainable Innovative Solutions Lab and URI Voter OperaTions and Election Systems Lab. As a computational community ergonomist, she specializes in using algorithms and advanced statistical methods to quantify and understand patterns and the performance of end-users at a community level in an environment of public service and government. Dr. Macht was a 2019 PBN News 40 Under Forty Award winner and was announced as an HFES Science Policy Fellow in 2023.
