Biography
Veronika Penkova is a graduate of the University of Glasgow's College of Medical, Veterinary, and Life Sciences, where she earned her MSc in Brain Sciences. Her research centered on exploring the neural processes of self-agency in the visual field through the use of 3 TESLA fMRI scans. Prior to her master's degree, Penkova obtained her bachelor's degree in Psychology from New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2010. Her undergraduate thesis focused on comparing readability differences in children with and without dyslexia using a Tobii eye tracker. In addition to her academic achievements, Penkova has also conducted usability research and explored the applications of artificial intelligence in education.
