Biography
Gráinne Tyrrell is a Human Factors PhD Candidate in the School of Architecture and Product Design at the University of Limerick. She has a BSc Hons in Product Design and Technology, with an emphasis on biomedical device design. Her research focuses on filling key user data gaps for interventional cardiology. Specifically, she is gathering anthropometric measures and user forces from cardiologists to inform device design, optimise user experience, and overall improve patient outcomes.
She is a member of the Irish Human Factors and Ergonomics Society and serves as Chair on the Health Research Institute Postgraduate Hub in the University of Limerick.
