Biography
Mike Politowicz is a research aerospace engineer in the Crew Systems and Aviation Operations Branch at NASA Langley Research Center. He earned his private pilot certificate in 2007 and a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2011. Mike has previously worked in the industry as a systems engineer supporting the development of simulation software for verification and validation of Flight Management Systems (FMS) on commercial and military aircraft. Additionally, he has several years of experience as a software engineer designing and developing mobile applications for iOS devices. Currently, Mike is researching Human-Autonomy Teaming (HAT) in the context of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) under the Transformational Tools & Technologies (TTT) – Autonomous Systems (AS) sub-project.
