Biography
I am doctoral candidate in the Human Factors & Human-Computer Interaction program at Rice University. My passion lies in aligning cutting-edge innovations with established user needs, weaving them into the fabric of familiarity and reliability. Co-advised by Dr. Mike Byrne and Dr. Phil Kortum, my research focuses on evaluating the usability of voting systems tailored for overseas and uniformed service members. By leveraging user-centered design and observing voting system guidelines, my work aims to address the obstacles associated with absentee voting in the military, empowering these individuals to engage more effectively and securely in the U.S. democratic process.
Feel free to reach out for discussions on voting systems or my other areas of experience: medical device development, clinical research, and health data systems!
