Biography
Olivia B. Newton is a postdoctoral scholar in the Cognitive sciences laboratory at the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on collaboration and knowledge in sociotechnical systems, and the application of computational methods to analyze group behavior. This is complemented by an analysis of ethical and epistemological issues in the development of technology (e.g., as in computational R&D). Currently, she is investigating collaborative learning in scientific software projects and team cognition for future space missions.
