Mansoor Nasir
Biography
Dr. Mansoor Nasir is an experienced research engineer with more than a decade of experience in development of cutting edge technologies for human-centered applications. He has developed sophisticated devices for applications in physiological sensing, microscale force measurements, and food and water safety. More recently, he has focused on Human Factors, design of future HMI systems and modeling of human behavior for improvement of driver safety, especially at various levels of driving automation. He received his Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in Bioengineering. He is passionate about engineering pedagogy and was a full-time faculty at Lawrence Technological University in Detroit metro area before his current role at Ford Motor Company.
