Stephanie Morrow
Biography
Dr. Stephanie Morrow is a Human Factors Psychologist in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Dr. Morrow applies the science of human and organizational behavior to the safe design and operation of nuclear systems and technology. She has been with the NRC since February 2011 and serves as a project manager for research activities related to human and organizational factors, including research to develop guidance for the review and licensing of advanced reactor designs. Dr. Morrow also supports NRC inspection activities as a senior safety culture assessor, where she leads safety culture assessments at nuclear power plants and vendor facilities. Dr. Morrow holds a Ph.D. and Master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Connecticut. Prior to joining the NRC, she worked as an engineering psychologist at the Volpe Center, the Department of Transportation’s National Transportation Systems Research Center.
