I am a Principal Human Factors Design Engineer (at Medtronic since 2010) and have a particular interest in the measurement and evaluation of the user experience. As well as being the Human Factors lead for a number of successful regulatory submissions, I am responsible for informing the strategy of how human factors is integrated into the Structural Heart and Aortic R&D department and developing the HFE team. I have a passion for innovation and design with several patents issued to date by the US Patent Office, European Patent Office and China National Intellectual Property Administration. I received my BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Psychology from Northumbria University.
