SUMMARY:115. The Intersection of Voice Assistants and Autonomous Vehicles:
  A Scoping Review

 ty)\n\nVoice assistants are increasingly popular in automated vehicles, wi
 th over one-third of United States drivers using them. The in-car voice as
 sistant market is expected to reach a significant value by 2031, yet more 
 knowledge is needed for future technology advancements. A scoping review w
 as conducted to understand interactions and provide insights into in-vehic
 le voice assistants. The PRISMA method identified relevant articles across
  three databases (Engineering Village, OneSearch, and IEEE Explore), resul
 ting in 31 articles meeting the criteria. The paper explores three areas o
 f intersection (user interactions, user experience, and accessibility) bet
 ween autonomous vehicles and voice assistants, covering subthemes of tone,
  gender, anthropomorphism, trust, situation awareness, and visual inclusiv
 eness. Results show differences in individual preferences and understandin
 g of how voice assistants can integrate seamlessly to meet drivers' needs 
 and expectations. Given the lack of scoping reviews on in-car voice assist
 ants, this study will provide insights to improve future in-vehicle system
