SUMMARY:56. The Effectiveness of System-Wide Trust Repair Strategies in a 
 Multi-Component Interface

 \n\nWe were interested in determining whether contagion effects extend to 
 a task environment that includes tasks that are visually incongruent and p
 erform dissimilar task functions. It was also unclear based on previous fi
 ndings whether trust repair strategies operate on a system-wide basis. Par
 ticipants supervised a task interface containing three tasks over three bl
 ocks. The animal task dropped from 90% reliability to 70% reliability in b
 lock 2 and block 3. A trust repair strategy was employed prior to block 3.
  We found that trust decreased for the animal task only, and the trust rep
 air strategy was ineffective. This study suggests that contagion effects d
 o not extend to an environment with dissimilar task functions. With that b
 eing said, dial task coding issues were a major limitation and compromised
  our findings. Future research should explore whether system-wide trust co
 ntagion effects occur when the tasks have higher risk, are more difficult,
