 his study used a recurrence model to evaluate fatigue in shoulder-level or
 der picking and examined the application of a recurrence model to incorpor
 ate factors associated with energy decaying and boosting. In this model, t
 he initial work cycle was described using an exponential function with a f
 ully rested initial energy. β was defined as the decay rate, and α was def
 ined as energy gain from resting. t_2 was the expected time to full fatigu
 e, with resting periods in between. \n\n14 adults (7 male) were invited fo
 r a 3-hour-order-picking experimental study. The results demonstrated a st
 rong model fit (R^2 mean = 0.89). Fatigue accumulation was significantly i
 nfluenced by period, pace, and personal factors such as sex and BMI. Chang
 es in task conditions affected time to fatigue and energy recovery, underl
 ining the model's predictive ability to gauge fatigue development. The fin
 dings highlight the importance of individual differences and task dynamics
